I will be able to share albums and songs, and playlists on Instagram and other social networks, and to friends knowing that even if they don't have the HiFi tier, they will still be able to listen to my suggestions. I will have album covers in playlists and not only text (feature only included in aurdirvana, roon, spotify, almost any music player except Tidal) Search feature never worked in Tidal (You had to type the exact title in order to get accurate results) Using external programs for basic main features, made me loose the offline feature of downloading music, as it is prohibited for third party apps and only available in Tidal app (which is trash) I no longer need to pay USB Audio Player PRO, in order to SORT MY PLAYLISTs when listening to them in my phone, some basic feature not included in Tidal.

I no longer need to pay Audirvana or Roon to remote control my system, or have better room support, some basic features not included with Tidal.

Spotify has the best algorithms ever for music recommendations so I no longer need to transfer my personalised playlists like release radar and discovery weekly, this also means I don't need to "feed Spotify" (transfer playlist back from tidal with selection of tracks suggested by Spotify, play this playlist in mute, at the same time I listed tidal for real) from time to time to keep these playlists accurate I no longer need to pay Soundiiz, to transfer playlists from Record Labels, Artists or Bloggers I follow. Why? Because I don't need to pay for extra software for basic features, it is not even about the money, having all the essential and basic features in the main app, and only in one app is.

Finally! As always said for more than 4 years already.Īs soon as Spotify has HiFi I'm leaving Tidal.
